CrossFit Amend March Newsletter

What happened to February?! This year is flying by! Huge shout out to all those who competed last month at the Garage Games RussVegas Showdown at CrossFit Russellville! Competitors from CrossFit Amend made up 6 teams, and were (as pictured): Andrea Ehlinger, Maysa Fouts, Ryan Bassham, Melissa Bassham, Tera Moore, Emily Reed, Haley Pate, Angela Lockman, Logan Pate, Sara Cotter, Robert Luther, and Brian Roberts. If you see any of these guys, give them a sweet high five! We are so proud of your hard work and commitment...keep it up!

Our next On Ramp/Fundamentals class begins Monday, March 5th, 2018. So if you've been thinking about  joining the Amend Family...this is where you begin. Our On Ramp/Fundamentals class teaches you all the fundamentals you will need to do CrossFit. It also ensures you are learning and performing the moves properly. If you are interested or know anyone who may be, message us on Facebook for more information or with any questions you may have.

It's Open season!!! You know what that means...Thursdays full of anticipation, and Friday Night Lights! We have 40 athletes officially participating, and many others doing it just for fun! We are so excited about this! For the next 5 weeks, we will be in competition mode. The week's Open WOD will be announced each Thursday evening through the month of March and performed on Friday evening in heats starting at 5:30pm. There are no afternoon classes on Fridays during March to give us time to prep for Friday Night Lights. Whether or not you've signed up for the Open, join us for this time of fun, fitness, and fellowship! 

February's Challenge is a bit different. It will count as February & March, and is a drawing for a t-shirt. Everyone who signed up for the Open last month is entered! Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook page for the announcement of the winner!
