CrossFit Amend April Newsletter

Bummed out about the lack of Springtime temperatures? Well, we have a solution...come SWEAT with Coach Tera at 5am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! SWEAT is designed with the high-intensity of CrossFit to give you an amazing workout without the intimidation of the barbell and heavy lifting. This class maximizes everyone’s potential regardless of their fitness level. We will be having a CrossFit Amend Cookout, Saturday, April 21st 4-7pm. We will enjoy some spikeball, fellowship, and food! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more details.

Congratulations to all who participated in the CrossFit Open! 40 athletes from our box signed up this year! You did things you didn't know you could do, completed WODs you thought were out of your skill set, and set all kinds of PRs! We are so proud of all of you! Our next On Ramp/Fundamentals class begins Monday, May 7th, 2018. So if you've been thinking about joining the Amend Family, no more procrastinating!! Our On Ramp/Fundamentals class teaches you all the fundamentals you will need to do CrossFit. It also ensures you are learning and performing the moves properly. Don't forget about BTWB! Beyond the Whiteboard is a fantastic tool to keep track of your progress and fitness level. You can keep track of things other than WODs, so it is a great way to monitor your nutrition, sleep, weight, fish oil intake, etc. You can choose to post publicly, to your fellow Amend members only, or keep your posts private. We love BTWB because it is inexpensive (just $5 added to your monthly Amend membership), it keeps us up to speed on how we are doing individually as well as compared to others, and it's easy!
